The Role of Vaccination in Preventing Pneumonia (2 อ่าน)
21 เม.ย 2569 18:10
Vaccination plays a critical role in preventing pneumonia by protecting against common causative pathogens such as Streptococcus pneumoniae and influenza viruses. Immunization reduces both the incidence and severity of infections, particularly in vulnerable populations like children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. Despite vaccination, some cases may still occur and require prompt treatment with antibiotics such as ceftriaxone injection, which is effective against a broad range of bacterial pathogens. However, prevention through vaccines remains more cost-effective and reduces antibiotic dependency, thereby helping to combat antimicrobial resistance while improving overall public health outcomes.
